We would like to thank Dave Zennaro for his time and contribution to the Club as president for 6 years!

We are pleased to announce that Matthew Cervelli has been appointed the new elected Representative President to replace Dave Zennaro for Blackburn Vikings.

As of 2018, he has been a Blackburn Vikings referee for over 25 years, including as a Level 2 referee and Level 3 referee advisor.

His dedication, experience and commitment to service at Blackburn earned him the honour of a VBRA Service Award in 2016 , also he was admitted as a Nunawading Junior Life Member in 2005, and as a Blackburn Vikings Life Member in 2016.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Matthew has also kindly agreed to further contribute to the Club as President, with the endorsement of the Rep Committee. He is passionate about further developing the Club beyond 2020 and placing it in an even stronger position through greater engagement with the local community and through the successful implementation of initiatives such as the Girls Referee Program that other Clubs will be keen to replicate.

With your support, we look forward to this new leadership chapter to place the Blackburn Vikings in the strongest position it can be.
