Ford Aussie Hoops is your "go-to program for developing skills, fostering a love for the game and being part of a vibrant basketball community".
Our Aussie Hoops program is aimed at 6 - 10 year olds. Participants will develop basketball skills in a fun, games centred environment with coaches who have undertaken the Ford Aussie Hoops Coach accreditation. Aussie Hoops is the first step in the Vikings pathway with participants given the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to transition into our domestic competitions.
Our Tuesday and Friday sessions are mixed and our Wednesday session is an All Gils Group.
Sessions: Tuesday 4- 5pm, Tuesday 5 - 6pm, Wednesday (ALL GIRLS) 4 - 5pm, Friday 4 - 5pm, Friday 5 - 6pm
When: The 8 week program will commence as follows:
Tuesdays -21st July (until 8th September)
Wednesday - 22nd July (until 9th September)
Friday - 24th July (until 11th September)
Cost: $100 for the term + $5.00 & $5.50 Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia fees.
Where: Slater Reserve Stadium, Grosvenor Street, Blackburn North
What to Wear: All new Aussie Hoops participants will be required to purchase a Ford Aussie Hoops Core Pack for $50. This will be purchased at registration. Players need to wear the Aussie Hoops reversible singlet and appropriate sporting footwear to each session.

What to Bring: We expect players to bring their Aussie Hoops basketball and a water bottle each week.
