We are excited to continue with Ford Aussie Hoops as part of our Development Program offerings for 2025.
Our Aussie Hoops program is aimed at 6 - 10 year olds. Participants will develop basketball skills in a fun, games centred environment with coaches who have undertaken the Ford Aussie Hoops Coach accreditation. Aussie Hoops is the first step in the Vikings pathway with participants given the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to transition into our domestic competitions.
Sessions: Tuesday 4- 5pm, Tuesday 5 - 6pm, Wednesday (Girls Only) 4 - 5pm, Friday 4 - 5pm, Friday 5 - 6pm
When: The 8 week program will commence as follows:
Tuesdays - 3rd February (until 24th March)
Wednesday - 4th February (until 25th March)
Friday - 6th February (until 27th March)
Cost: $100 for the term + $4.50 & $5.00 Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia fees.
Where: Slater Reserve Stadium, Grosvenor Street, Blackburn North
What to Wear: All new Aussie Hoops participants will be required to purchase a Ford Aussie Hoops Core Pack for $50. This will be purchased at registration. Players need to wear the Aussie Hoops reversible singlet and appropriate sporting footwear to each session.

What to Bring: We expect players to bring their Aussie Hoops basketball and a water bottle each week.
