EDJBA Winter Season – Finals Wrap Up
What a way to finish the winter season! Across every age group, from our U09s through to our U21s, Blackburn Vikings had 55 teams playing finals basketball this year in the EDJBA — and we couldn't be prouder of the way our club showed up when it mattered most.
Of those 55 teams, 29 went all the way and were crowned premiers, with the rest finishing runners up after gutsy, hard-fought grand finals. Every single one of those results is a credit to the players who wore the jersey.
A season's worth of work
Finals success doesn't happen in a single afternoon. It's the product of a full winter of training sessions and weekends spent building the connections and consistency that show up when the pressure is on. Whether a team came away with the result or came up just short in their grand final, what we saw across the club this year reflects months of effort from every team.

Whether you finished the year at the end of the regular season, with a medal around your neck or a grand final loss to learn from, you represented this club with pride, and that's what Blackburn basketball is all about.
