Our Wednesday night competition continues to be a great environment for developing our officials week to week. It gives our referees the chance to build game management skills, work under supervision and coaching, and get consistent reps at a different skillset to what we use in junior domestic - all of which feeds directly into their progression toward higher grades and bigger games. The officials taking charge of Wednesday's Grand Finals are a good example of that development in action.

Thank you also to all of our week-to-week officials for their commitment across the Wednesday competition this season - it's much appreciated, and it's this consistent effort that keeps building the strength of our officiating group.
